The Whole of Life Programme

The OBU provides ongoing support in the areas of career, life decisions and pastoral care through its Whole of Life programme.  Through this programme the OBU can provide contacts to members or associates with relevant career experience to answer questions and help where desired.  Special emphasis is also given to the provision of support in life decisions and pastoral care and this is provided by the School Community Chaplain Rev. Nick Foord. Nick’s great experience allows him to assist both directly and by way of referring Old Boys to other experts across various fields.

Northbridge War Memorial

In keeping with our close involvement with the Northbridge Playing Grounds, we have continued our financial support with the “Northbridge Pledge”, donating monies towards the relocated War Memorial which provides a strong reminder to us all of the sacrifices made by many Shore Boys and Staff in the past.

Common Room Support

More recently the OBU contributed a plaque acknowledging academic members of staff who have achieved 25 years or more of service.

Archives

The OBU supports the Shore Archives collection which contains an enormous wealth of historical records, photographs, souvenirs, articles and other memorabilia. This unique collection is being maintained for the benefit of all Old Boys, their families and future generations of the School Community.
